Rain, Rain, Go Awayyy...

The rain has continued to fall in our neck of the woods all day.  It can be so annoying when you have errands and running around to do but when your day consists of Taco Soup in the crock pot and napping--bring on the rain! This weekend was definitely needed; especially after an ear infection and inflamed sinus canal--it was super relaxingg. I had a slumber party with my sister Friday evening and Saturday consisted of a Target trip with mom and my sister followed by a nap.  Nothing can beat that!

The past month has been extremely busy and I haven't felt like we've been home much--hence the importance of a relaxing weekend.  We were fortunate enough to celebrate the New Years in the mountains and we went back to the mountains last weekend to "get our shred on."  This past snowboard trip was a blast--my parents, sister and nephew, and Blake and Jordan joined us in Massanutten for a nice get away weekend.  We had a blastttttt.  We were able to snowboard all weekend and my mom and dad had their first snow tubing experience--what a hilarious event.  My dad shut the snow tubing park down--this is no lie--due to the speeds he hit coming down the mountain. #wethoughtourcarswouldgetegged

The Gang--minus Jordan

I was going to blog about our wonderful getaway but this past week was crazy. Afterschool events and a nasty sinus infection/ear infection left me with nights on the couch and lots of medication.  I'm feeling much better now and ready to bring on the last week of the nine weeks.  Can't believe we'll be entering the 3rd nine weeks in just a few days.  Sure is crazy how time flies! I also can't wait for The Bachelor.  It sure does consume my life for the weeks that it's on but I by far think this group of girls are quite the catch--it should call for a very interesting season.  #gottaloveTV

January is quickly coming to an end and the way it's going it'll be summertime before i can blink.  In a nutshell--Craig and I are doing GREAT; just staying beyond busy most of the time.  Have a great week y'all!

2012-Lettin' The Good Times Roll

Seems like only yesterday we were welcoming in 2011.  Looking back on 2011--it was a very good year: Craig and I celebrated our first anniversary, our nephew turned one, and we got to make many memories with our friends and family.  I can't believe 2012 is already here but excited to see what will unfold in the months ahead.  New Years is an exciting time.  It gives you a new start and new beginning.  New Years Resolutions seem to be a big deal--well, not for me.  I tend to break my resolutions so I've stopped making them.  I mean I have "goals" that I hope to accomplish--but I've honestly not sat down and thought about resolutions this year. Have you sat down and made a list of resolutions for 2012?

We had a blast ringing in the New Year with great friends! We went to Massanutten for a weekend of snowboarding and celebrating the coming of 2012.  Well, we surely celebrated the coming of 2012 but the snowboardingggg---well, we had to travel for that.

Our New Years Trip Included:
Lounging around and Just Dance 3...
...and well, the guys LOVED it!

Overall, it was a wonderful New Years!  Craig and I are so excited for what 2012 will have to offer us! We'll continue to keep you updated on the happenings of 2012!

HAPPY NEW YEARS!
