Goodbye Spring Break, Hello Real World

Well, spring break has officially come to an end.  It's back to twenty kindergartners tomorrow; tying shoes and blowing noses--and the way the pollen is, I'm sure we'll have some noses to blow.  This week was just what I needed and allowed me to have much needed rest and relaxation.  It's amazing how one week off can rejuvenate you for the rest of the school year.  I'm ready to head back to school and get the fourth nine weeks kicked off.  It's amazing how fast the school year goes and how fast these precious children who couldn't even spell their name or identify a letter have grown up. I must say I'm SOO proud of my kindergartners this year--they've all worked SOO hard!

As for spring break--amazing! Two hour naps were amazing (I'm not sure how I'm gonna adjust to a full day at school tomorrow with no nap time). I was able to spend some time with my BFF from college and go to a Tide's baseball game.  Craig and I love a good double date! I then was able to spend some time working on the house--painted the shutters and worked in the flower beds!  We were also able to go to the circus with my family! We had a blast!   I was also fortunate enough to spend a lot of time with my sister and nephew--I'm truly blessed to have such a wonderful family!  So between naps I caught up on TV, worked in the yard a little, and was able to do a little working out.  I was hoping Craig could take a day off to do something fun but it just never worked out!  Guess there is always summer!

It's getting there!
Circus time.

I'm preparing myself for bed and preparing for heading back to work tomorrow!  I'm sure Craig can't wait for me to get back to work instead of sleeping in until 8:30 am each day!  It's not much longer before it's time to start preparing for the summer!  (Let's just keep praying that I'll have a job before the end of the school year!  Let's hope we have a smooth week back in room 10! Until next time we'll be busy with hockey playoffs, baby showers, and more house work!
